This is a check-patterned women's coat, a signature model from Macintosh London, a classic trench coat. The collar is detachable, allowing it to be worn as a stand-up collar. Macintosh rubberized coats are handmade using a method unchanged for 200 years, crafted meticulously one by one. The coat is sewn from this waterproof fabric, and to prevent rain from entering through the seams, artisans painstakingly apply waterproof tape by hand to the back of every seam, resulting in a coat that takes considerable time and effort to complete.
