This is a tsurube (well bucket) from Ayame Kiln in Ikoma, Nara. It's a decorative ceramic piece with a lot of character. The box contained wood shavings as cushioning, suggesting it's quite old. Size: Long diameter approx. 18cm, short diameter approx. 12cm, height approx. 18cm Although it's new and unused, it has been stored at home for a long time. Thank you for your understanding.
