1/35 Military Miniature Series No.353 1/35 German IV Assault Gun Brummbär Late Production Type Product Details 【 Destroy enemy strongholds with overwhelming firepower! 】The German IV assault gun Brummbär was developed during World War II for infantry fire support. Based on the chassis of the IV tank, it featured a large fighting compartment with 100mm frontal armor and 50mm side armor, and was equipped with a powerful short-barreled 15cm howitzer. The high-explosive shells had a range of 5,000m, and the shaped charge rounds could penetrate 160mm of armor plate inclined at 30 degrees. Among the three types of Brummbär developed—early, mid, and late production—the late production type recorded the largest production number of about 160 vehicles from May 1944 to March 1945, just before the end of the war. Incorporating lessons learned from combat, it was equipped with a forward machine gun for defense and a commander's cupola, and the fighting compartment was also enlarged and the layout was completely redesigned.
