While nylon is often blended in woolen fabrics for reinforcement, this coat uses only Super100 wool spun yarn. After weaving, the fabric is carefully brushed, and the entire process, from weaving to finishing, is done in Bishu. The design is inspired by the Japanese cotton-padded hanten coat, with a shape that doesn't flare at the hem. When the collar is raised and the front is closed, it resembles a kimono. It has enough room to wear a thick knit underneath, making it comfortable even in mid-winter. Opening the front to let air in allows for comfortable wear in the autumn and spring. It has a simple design without buttons, and you can fasten it with your own pins or belts if needed.
