Once a year, for about two weeks, we keep the fire burning continuously. At the kiln, it's slowly fired at a temperature of around 1200 degrees Celsius. Ten days later, we take it out of the kiln, lightly polish it, wash it by hand, and inspect it for water leaks before shipping.
