It makes sounds like "beep" and "bee-beep" when starting, stopping, and selecting a menu. It works without any problems. You can put the hamburger inside and "cook" it, but the plate doesn't fit due to its size. It seems like you're supposed to put the finished food on it to enjoy. It's difficult to balance the hamburger by stacking it. I recommend putting each part of the hamburger in the microwave to "cook" it. There are small scratches and stains typical of plastic products.
