There are no noticeable scratches, stains, or stickiness. ● Product Description A rare royal-themed gift item from the 1950s Stratton powder compact, depicting Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. A rare "Corona" model made by Stratton in the 1950s, in very good condition. Stratton compacts with royal themes are very popular and are considered collectors' items. This mid-century antique powder compact features an inlaid photograph of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip). This image was taken from a photograph by Sterling Henry Nahum, the court photographer of the British Royal Family, known as "Baron." The edge has a brass frame with a lacquered engraving. When you open the lid, a beautifully reflective, excellent mirror appears. The brass parts are lacquered, so they do not discolor and require no maintenance. The powder space comes with an unused wax paper insert, a puff, and a sifter. The puff has the "Stratton" logo mark printed in gold letters.
