This project began with the idea of realizing the exchange of raw spirits, which is common in Scotland, in Japan as well. This project, launched by two distilleries with high aspirations to pursue new possibilities for Japanese whisky, began six years ago in April 2015 with the exchange of each other's raw spirits (new pot). The Chichibu Distillery, rich in nature and blessed by the basin's unique temperature differences and the Arakawa River, and the Mars Shinshu Distillery, surrounded by the beautiful forests at the foot of the Central Alps Komagatake. The raw spirits, aged in these two different environments, were blended in each location and expressed as a new individuality. This is a limited edition product, making it a rare bottle.
