This is a deconstructed vintage visiting kimono from the Showa era. It belonged to my mother, who wore it in the mid-Showa period. I've kept it because of its beautiful ground pattern. It features a ground pattern of clouds and imperial court carriages. This is the fabric from one visiting kimono. There is no lining. The color is more subdued than in the photos, a slightly lighter shade of reddish-brown. I have unpicked, home-cleaned, and ironed the fabric. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but the fabric is aged, so there are many places where the color of the outer fabric and the seam allowances differ. Some threads may remain. Please understand. Those who are planning to remake it can start immediately. Thank you.
