I imagine it would be used with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. If this were, for example, Denka (田家), it would be like the old imperial theme of Denka Soba (田家早梅), and I imagine it would evoke an image of the New Year. If it were the Heian period and the Tale of Genji, I imagine a secluded young lady who had fallen from grace would be living in a desolate and lonely house.
