This is from a workshop I attended at payaka, where we polished Yakusugi cedar beads. I spent time polishing the Yakusugi cedar, had a hole drilled in it, and made it into a necklace with beads and string I had on hand, but I haven't had a chance to wear it, so I've been keeping it. The Yakusugi cedar bead is 4cm in diameter, and the string is about 30cm long. I think you can change the string and parts to your favorite colors and materials, and adjust the length as you like. It goes well with simple hemp cotton.
