This is a handmade tuck skirt made from a tartan check fabric with a rich color. It's made of crisp cotton fabric. There is no lining. There are 3cm-wide pleats facing each other from the center front to the left and right, creating a soft and gentle look. Instead of gathering, the waist area is held in place with tucks that are about 7cm long, giving a neat look around the hips. (The example in the image is a 158cm tall person wearing a size M) The waist is sewn with the same fabric as the belt part, so there's less bulk around the waist. Also, it's comfortable because it has two thin elastic bands. The full width of the fabric is used, and the sides are selvedges. The hem is triple-folded.
