Jenny Friend, Kisara, made in Japan by the former Takara. She has tanned skin, golden-brown hair, and sharp makeup. There is some aging, but it's an old item, and I think it's good enough to play with. Compared to the made-in-Japan dolls by Castle, I think the Takara ones have a sharper, more defined image. Depending on the doll, I prefer Takara over Castle. I think Castle dolls are fluffy and cute. The clothes are a bonus. Originally, it was a wonderful suit made in Japan by the former Takara, and I obtained it here a long time ago with a Jenny doll, but the red checked collar/ribbon around the neck had been cut off. I made a new collar with the checked fabric from the skirt of the damaged Takara outfit's upper body, and I also made a matching mini-skirt with the leftover fabric. The elastic of the skirt was also loose, so I made a belt part with a different fabric and used snaps. Also, although the pattern was for a center-closure garment, the button positions were double and off-center (it's a strange double-breasted jacket that you sometimes see on old doll clothes), so I corrected it to the center. The shoes are Takara. They are a rather rare color. The glasses are Takara Tomy, a recent item. The bag is unknown, but it's well-made of synthetic leather.
