※ Information regarding price negotiations is listed in my profile. Please take a moment to review it beforehand. This is a YAMAHA tenor trombone, model YSL-651. It uses a small shank mouthpiece. In addition to the instrument itself, the following items are included: ・Mouthpiece (no-brand 6 1/2AL, unused) ・Hard case (for transport) This is a Yamaha's first professional model, manufactured and sold from around 1969 to 1975. At the time, there were no custom models, and this was considered the highest grade trombone. It is said to be a legendary instrument and is still popular today. It is also famous for being used by the jazz master J.J. Johnson. The bell is made of red brass, and the rest is made of cupronickel, which is a rather unique specification. Originally, I only obtained the bell section for parts, but it became unnecessary, and since the slide from a YSL-252 could be used, I am selling it as a set. Compared to the original cupronickel slide, I think the sound has become milder. Personally, I can feel the difference when comparing them, but there is no sense of discomfort, and there are no particular problems with playing. For the listing, the inside of the tubes has been cleaned with a cleaner and neutral detergent. The slide felts and bumper rubbers have been replaced as they were worn out. After cleaning, I have greased it and confirmed that it produces sound, so you should be able to use it immediately. After confirmation, I have wiped the slide to protect the inner tubes. (If you wish to have slide oil applied, please contact me after purchase) There are scratches and dents, and it shows signs of use, but I think it is at a level where there are no problems with playing. The slide is not like new, but the movement is smooth. (It slides down to the 7th position without catching under its own weight.) I believe this is a product with no problems for playing, but it is a used item, so please make your judgment based on the photos and consider purchasing.
