This is a handmade item. I purchased it several years ago and used it a few times, but haven't used it since, so I've been storing it carefully. There is no mold or noticeable dirt. The wooden base has a smooth finish, so droppings can be easily wiped off. There is one spot where the wood is about to come loose. It's a size that can be enjoyed by not only budgies but also medium-sized parrots like cockatiels.
