This is a rental used DVD. The disc has scratches on both sides. It played without issue, so please purchase if you don't mind the condition. The case has been replaced with a new one. The film depicts the survival of a few remaining humans in Antarctica after a deadly bacterial weapon nearly wipes out humanity. This is a film adaptation of Sakyo Komatsu's novel of the same name, with a screenplay co-written by Koji Takada ("The Black Marketeers of Japan"), Gregory Knapp, and Kinji Fukasaku ("Chushingura"), who also directed.
