This is a Bizen-yaki round plate. Diameter: 25 cm, Height: 3 cm. This piece is by Mitsuru Miyoshi, a Bizen-yaki potter. I believe it beautifully showcases the characteristics of Bizen-yaki, such as botan-mochi (rice cakes), hidasuki (red flames), and goma (sesame glaze), in a balanced way. It has a rustic feel, so it would be great for meat or fish, but the depth also makes it suitable for pasta. It has Mitsuru Miyoshi's potter's mark on the back. It is new, but does not have a box. Climbing kilns are very costly. I don't think you could buy this for this price now.
