It looks like amethyst or purple crystal, but it's not certain as there is no box inscription. It's not spherical, but has cuts that make it shine. These are purple Buddhist prayer beads. They were given to me by my mother and are quite old. They have been stored, with hardly any use. There are no noticeable stains or damage. I do not recommend them to those who are concerned about used items. They will be shipped without a box.
