The outside has a floral pattern, and the inside is purple fleece. I think you can wear this when you go outside on cold days, or when you're in a stroller. I loved the color and design; it was one of my favorites. You can also tuck in the hands and feet when they're cold. There are no stains, so I think you can still wear it.
