Excellent Condition Record 1982 UK Original 2LP Virgin – V2223 Matrix: A2/B1/C1/D2 Early Embossed Jacket Released in 1982 XTC "English Settlement" Their 5th studio album, finally reaching number 5 in the UK charts! Many consider this work their masterpiece. Following the previous album, the emphasis on bass and drums, combined with a sense of darkness, is addictive(^^) Tested and confirmed with a Shure M44G cartridge at 1.5g tracking force. Cleaned with care. [Record] Slight surface noise, but not noticeable during the music, and the record is in beautiful, excellent condition!! Two hairline scratches on side 4 (images 15 and 16), but they do not affect the sound. Excellent sound quality with great freshness and atmosphere(^^) [Jacket] First pressing embossed jacket!! Noticeable scuffing, many wrinkles, bottom split of about 10cm, and significant damage. This is just my personal opinion, so please be satisfied with the images.
