Kutani-yaki Vase, Made by Soshu This vase is made by applying silver leaf, then coating it with transparent glaze and five-color overglaze, and firing it. It is a beautiful item with a lovely light reflection. There is some blackening on the bottom due to scuffing. Otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches or stains.
