This is a Russian wooden matryoshka doll I purchased during a trip to the Czech Republic in 2001. It's a set of 7 dolls, nesting inside each other to become one. It has a traditional and common design. I believe the faces are carefully painted. - Type: Matryoshka doll - Color: Red/Yellow/Floral - Size: Set of 7 - Design: Traditional Russian design - Material: Wood In my personal opinion, it's in relatively good condition. There are no noticeable scratches or paint chips, but please understand that it is 25 years old, so there is some corresponding aging. When you open it, there are brown and dark wood stains.
