I purchased this as a futon set, but I used it on a bed for my newborn during my return home for childbirth. Since my baby was born in the summer, I didn't use the comforter. I kept it next to the bed with the cover on, but I never used it, so I'm giving it away. It has been washed. The comforter itself and the comforter cover are a set. The moon and star embroidery is aqua blue.
