Chashaku (tea scoop) length: approximately 18.4 cm Tea caddy length: approximately 21.6 cm, diameter: approximately 2.8 cm This chashaku, with the name "Senshin" (Purified Heart), was made by Hasegawa Kanshu, the 527th abbot of Daisenin Temple. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and the condition is good. The accompanying box shows slight signs of aging. The carving was done by Takehan, a shimo-shoku (lower-ranking craftsman) and sashimonoshi (wood joiner).
