This is a very elaborate piece featuring various Edo Komon patterns within a cloud motif, and it has the artist's signature. Edo Komon can tend to be understated, but this one is elegant and華やか (hanayaka - showy/gorgeous). The kimono has been carefully maintained and stored in a paulownia chest. I believe there are no noticeable stains, but I apologize if I've overlooked anything. It is an awase (lined) kimono, hand-sewn. I am 160cm tall, weigh 50kg, and wear a size 9. I have worn it, but it is not quite my size.
