I wore this for one season, washed it at home, and stored it. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and the down is fluffy. I don't think there are any problems with use, but please forgive any overlooked minor stains. It's hard to notice, but there is some slight fraying on the embroidery on the back. This is a very warm down jacket, and you can get through the winter with just this one.
