The surface has a corduroy-like texture. It was folded and stored in a closet, so it's wrinkled, but I think the material is not noticeable from a distance. It has a zipper in the back and pockets on the sides. (See photos 5 and 6; the color looks different depending on the lighting, but it's black.) I bought it over 5 years ago. I had it dry cleaned at the end of each season. I think I wore it for about 3 seasons.
