The sender is listed as "February 19th, First Uneducated Supplementary Soldier." The year on both receipts is Showa 9, so it is believed to be February 19, Showa 9 (1934). The draft is in the images, but the order is unknown. Although I haven't deciphered it, Showa 9 (1934) was a year that saw development in the economy and culture, while also seeing a rise in militarism and stronger control of speech. It was also the year that Manchukuo became an empire and Puyi was enthroned as emperor.
