[Vintage] Ludwig L-482 Rock / Concert Series Snare 14x6.5 Includes Ludwig soft case [Structure] ・Shell: Wood 6-ply ・Size: 14" x 6.5" ・Strainer System: P-87 (Full Contact) ・Snare Wires: 8-coil + 4-straight cord (Independently adjustable tension) ・Hoops: 10-tension press hoops [Description] ◆This is a very rare 14" x 6.5" wood shell snare drum [Rock / Concert Series L-482] from 1980s LUDWIG. ◆It features the unusual classic strainer [P-87], a very rare full-contact design that allows for fine-tuning of the snare wire tension, one strand at a time. ◆The snare wires consist of 8 coil wires in the center and 4 thicker straight cords on the outside, providing a very delicate touch. ◆The sound also has a classic tone unique to concert snares. ◆The shell itself produces a warm, full sound, and you can create a variety of sounds by controlling the touch with versatility. ◆While the mechanism is a bit complex and requires some getting used to for adjustments, there's enjoyment in pursuing the unique sound that only this snare drum can produce. ◆Blue Olive badge, likely manufactured in the 1980s. ◆Although not all parts are original, the snare wires are in very good condition, and the switch operates smoothly. ◆There are minor blemishes on the shell and various parts, but the shell and hoops have no significant warping or deformation, and it's in remarkably good condition considering its age.
