[Product Description] The Adapta RF / EF is a positive-locking, high-quality EF mount adapter specifically designed for the RED® KOMODO. The Adapta RF / EF converts the KOMODO's native RF mount to the popular EF mount, and is carefully designed with optical baffles and flare traps to achieve optimal performance, taking into account the KOMODO's cinema-style usage. The mount is optimized for strength and longevity. Stainless steel and aerospace-grade aluminum are used throughout. The EF mount is shimmable for precise back focus and features a play-free positive lock design. Essential to the concept is the inclusion of a robust support foot designed to match the KOMODO's body size, allowing the mount to be securely fixed to a baseplate or other support with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 fittings. Optionally, the Chinstrap mount support provides excellent rigidity by directly connecting the Adapta RF / EF to the KOMODO camera body. The Adapta RF / EF is specifically designed to complement the KOMODO, but it fits any RF mount. All standard EF lenses are compatible, and all electronic functions available from the host camera pass through.
