This is a very luxurious fukuro obi (formal obi) that uses a lot of gold thread. Gold thread is used on a black background, with accents of orange, pink, and white. Because of the extensive use of gold thread, it's surprisingly easy to match with other garments. This was a gift intended for a furisode (long-sleeved kimono for unmarried women), but I am selling it because I won't be using it. It has a design that is easy to use in formal settings such as weddings and ceremonies. It is also a beautiful obi that can be used as a table center piece or interior decoration. How about using it as a material for kimono remake projects? There are fold marks on the areas without patterns, such as after tying, but I don't think it will be a problem when worn. ● Material: I believe it is silk, but I am not certain. ● Accessories: I plan to send the obi folded up small.
