This is a used Tachiguchi kama (tea kettle).
It is a work by Nakata Ryo, and comes with a matching box.
It is a shirihari-gata (round-bottomed) Tachiguchi kama, with an arare (hailstone) pattern that resembles waves.
The kan (handles) are gourd-shaped, and the lid also has distinctive features in its knob and base.
There is rust on the inside, but I don't think it's enough to affect the water. The bottom is not very rough and I think it's in good condition.
The lid has some scratches.
There is no major damage, but the matching box has some age-related discoloration.
