Michel, a young man who is a few months away from military service during the Algerian War, meets two close friends, Liliane and Juliette, at the television station where he works. The two gradually become attracted to Michel, but he tries to get along with both of them. Meanwhile, Michel, who made a mistake at work, quits the television station to enjoy a vacation before his military service, and leaves for Corsica without telling the two women.
