This is a single-flower vase from "Irodori Kobo Sai-sai," a craftsman in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido. They don't have a website and are a local craftsman who makes things by hand on a small scale. Each piece is one-of-a-kind. They value the materials and create works with character that make the most of the wood's unique features (including knots, scratches, and cracks). It exudes softness and elegance. However, the wood grain on one side is a bit unique. The piece has a different feel depending on the angle. Please check the photos for a crack (repaired). A glass test tube (length 10cm, diameter 1cm) is included. The test tube is designed to be hidden and can be removed. Please be careful not to put the test tube in while it's wet.
