Thank you for viewing. This is a set of 4 pieces of fabric scraps for remaking, made from mud-dyed cotton Oshima Tsumugi kimono. There may be a little silk mixed in. I found it easier to handle than genuine silk Oshima Tsumugi for making my own kimono remakes, and I was hooked for a while, collecting them at antique markets, etc. At the time, they were not readily available, and even if I found them, they were as expensive as silk or even more so. Because it's woven, I think you can use it without worrying about the front or back. The fabric is thin and supple, but also firm. There are holes, stains, discoloration, and repairs. Please use the good parts for your handmade projects. Approximate dimensions: 21 x 108 cm, 14 x 174 cm, 14 x 75 cm, 10 x 110 cm Please allow for some errors as this is amateur measurement.
