A unique, cool expression created by zinc oxide crystals. Crystal glaze, which is slowly fired at a high temperature of about 1,250°C, is a natural trajectory created by the flames and glaze. It is caused by the formation of zinc oxide crystals, and the crystals grow by holding a large amount of glaze containing the raw materials for the crystals at a constant temperature. It is said that large, beautiful crystals are born when the glaze components and firing conditions match well. Each individual crystal is reminiscent of freezing ice, and it changes color depending on the light, appearing blue, green, and even like silver leaf. The patterns, like flower petals or seashells, sparkle and are magnificent, making this a vase with a strong presence. It is a very cool and beautiful item.
