Purchased as a used item in November 2024 at a musical instrument store in Tokyo. As shown in photo 8, there is a noticeable dent just before the curve, but other than that, there are lacquer chips and scratches commensurate with its age. The piston springs have been replaced with current genuine phosphor bronze springs. The inner felts have been replaced with silent felts. The water key cork has been replaced with a new one. This is an instrument of considerable age, and while it may not feel immediately responsive for vigorous playing, it should be perfectly adequate for those just starting out. I bought it out of curiosity, but I don't use a cornet in my musical genre, so I am putting it up for sale. I will include a Bach 3C mouthpiece that has been used very little. Since there is no case, I will pack the instrument and mouthpiece with cushioning material for shipping. I am a non-smoker and do not have any pets. Please read my profile before purchasing.
