This is a Nagoya obi made of shinafu (bast fiber cloth) custom-made at Seki Gofukuten in Sapporo. I have worn it about twice. It is a piece that has a delicate beauty despite its rustic appearance. Since it has been worn only a few times, it still has some stiffness, but I think it will soften and become more comfortable with wear.
