This is a mini scissor labeled CERAX and TYK. I purchased this item new, but the packing was damaged, so I replaced it with another one. Also, I tried cutting with it once, so I've listed it as "like new." This is a ceramic scissor, so I believe it has overwhelming wear resistance, but it would be very difficult for an individual to sharpen. After actually using it, I thought it was definitely of a quality that could be used as a first-string tool in salon work, but because of its high wear resistance, I imagine it would be perfect as a self-cut scissor, including the size. The feel and sharpness are in excellent condition. For reference, it cuts tissue very sharply and well without snagging.
