Trade beads made in Venice from the mid to late 1800s and brought to Africa. These are fancy red beads with a white hearts type leaf motif. There are some small chips in the glass, but the delicately drawn patterns remain beautifully, making these rare beads. Leaf motifs often have missing patterns, but these are remarkably well-preserved.
