This is a formal obi (sash) suitable for a celebratory kimono, such as those worn for coming-of-age ceremonies. It's ideal for tying styles like the fukuragasu (puffed sparrow). While there are no noticeable stains, it is an older piece, so it has some weight and minor fold creases. The tortoiseshell pattern features a華やか floral design with gold and silver threads, making it very elegant.
