Miharu Daruma are traditional papier-mâché daruma dolls that have been made since the late Edo period. They are produced at Takashiba Deco Yashiki in Nishida Town, Koriyama City, which was formerly part of the Miharu domain. They are characterized by their flat heads, deeply carved faces with a fierce gaze, blue outlining around the eyes, and a protruding belly. With both eyes open, they glare in all directions, inviting good fortune and warding off evil. Their fierce gaze causes their faces to flush, giving them a faint red hue. Height: 25cm. Weight: 300g. There are dents on the forehead, belly, and right side. There are scratches on both sides. There is a small chip in the middle of the neck.
