It's silver-plated. There is some clouding on the surface, but no scratches or dents. I received it from a senior in the jazz club two years ago. The pistons are not stuck, and there is no rust. It still sounds great and is usable! It's a Jupiter cornet, which is rare these days. The original case and a Jupiter 7C mouthpiece are included.
