Acrylic, nylon, fabrics that do not absorb water, and thick fabrics will not allow the adhesive to penetrate, so the patch will not stick. When attaching to large appliques or thick fabrics, press for a longer time. Even so, there are inquiries that the patch does not stick, at a rate of about 1 in 1000 transactions. In that case, please sew it on or use adhesive. What I have felt after using it several times is that it is better to iron from the back side as well, and to wait for it to cool completely.
