This is an unused, long-term storage item, a pendant top with an ethnic face design, received as a souvenir from Africa. It's made using silver filigree, a traditional silverwork technique where thin silver wires are twisted and bent to create delicate, lace-like patterns, which are then welded together to form a three-dimensional shape.
