I've used it a few times, so the face is fine, but there are stains on the side where you put IC cards, etc. (see photos 3 and 4). There are no similar stains on the face, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Also, there's a zipper on the top of the head (?), so you can put keys and small items in it (see photo 5). The金具 (metal fitting) part that attaches to bags can stretch, so you can extend it to pass through the ticket gates even if it's attached to a backpack!
