This is Apia's BUCC-IV. It's a 3-piece rod from the Foojin BB series, the only one in the series with a detachable grip. This product was supervised by Mr. Red Nakamura, a professional sea bass angler and also known for his commentary on family-style ramen. It's a black, rugged, and cool-looking rod. In these times when lightness is sought after, I don't think rods this cool and strong will be made anymore. Regarding the condition of the product, there are scratches on the guide threads, but the blank itself is in good condition. There are no scratches or cracks on the guides themselves. There are only a few minor scratches on the grip where the reel foot is tightened. I've attached photos of the noticeable scratches, but even those are barely noticeable. I personally think it's in the category of a beautiful used item. Utilizing its 119-length, I think it can be used for surf fishing, rocky shores, flatfish, and even for blue-backed fish.
