This is a ceramic plate. I used to put it in the refrigerator or in rice. I'm selling it because I don't use it anymore. (I used it because my child had a tendency towards atopic dermatitis and asthma.) It is said to work the same way as charcoal, and some people place it under the floor or under the bed.
