Color transfer is prevented with a color-fastening treatment. I personally use this mouse pad, and there has been no color transfer. Color transfer is not an issue with normal use. Two pieces of cowhide leather are hand-stitched together. It can be used not only as a mouse pad, but also as a small item tray or an accent for photos on Mercari (a Japanese online marketplace). It can hold keys, small items, or be used as a stand for iPads and iPhones, etc. I have processed the images to be as close to the actual product as possible.
