This is a fuzz pedal made by Ibanez as an OEM in the 1970s! "Ibanez" is an export brand of Nisshin Onpa, also known for the "Maxon" brand. It was also exported overseas under the models "Ibanez Standard Fuzz" and "MICA/FUZZ MACHINE." It features a fuzz sound with extremely crushed (compressed) and rough distortion, making chords sound like a mass of sound that attacks you. The controls consist of two switches in the front: the left one turns the fuzz ON/OFF, and the right one switches the fuzz tone. This is a common specification for Japanese-made fuzz pedals, allowing you to choose between a scooped-mid tone (with the upper octave sound quite prominent in the high positions; this is recommended) and a mid-boost tone. The appearance is also unique, with the right slider controlling the fuzz distortion and the left slider controlling the fuzz output.
